Bad weather forces Rahul to cancel Almora rally, return to Delhi
Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's Almora rally was cancelled on Thursday owing to bad weather conditions in the Kumaon region.
On January 6 last, the special court had instructed Rahul Gandhi to appear in person to despose before the court on the day.

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will be on a two-days visit to Uttar Pradesh from January 19. The MP from Rae Bareli may appear in the court in Sultanpur on January 19 in a defamation case related to Union Home minister Amit Shah.

According to Congress sources here on Saturday, Gandhi will arrive in Lucknow by a flight and from the Lucknow airport will travel to Sultanpur by road. The Congress leader will then proceed to Rae Bareli and hold a MNREGA chaupal in a villageo and interact with the party workers. After taking a night halt the next day, he will inaugurate the Rae Bareli premier cricket league ,season-6 at 1030 hours and thereafter will leave for Delhi .
